Groups
- Goalkeeper — The last line of defence — reflexes, command of the box, and nerve.
- Centre-back — The defensive anchor — tackling, heading, and reading the game.
- Full-back / Wing-back — Defends the flank and overlaps to support the attack.
- Defensive midfielder — Shields the defence and breaks up play in front of the back line.
- Central midfielder — The engine room — links defence and attack, box to box.
- Attacking midfielder — Creates chances in the final third — the playmaker behind the striker.
- Winger — Pace and trickery down the flank — beats defenders and delivers crosses.
- Striker — The focal point up front — finishing and leading the line.
