Refund Policy

Effective May 2026. We aim for fair, no-friction refunds in genuine cases.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable, because the funds go straight to running the platform once received. We will refund a donation in two cases:

  • Duplicate payment: you sent the same donation twice by mistake. Contact us within 14 days with both order numbers and we will refund the duplicate in full.
  • Unauthorised payment: the payment was made without your consent (e.g. by a family member using your account). We will refund and close the affected donation order.

If a refund is issued, the ArtaQuest coins credited for that donation are reversed at the same time.

Certificate fees

If you pay a certificate fee but a technical defect prevents the certificate from being issued, we will either re-issue the certificate or refund the fee in full — your choice. Contact support@artaquest.org within 14 days of the payment, quoting the course title and your order number.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are sent back via the same method you used to pay — PayPal returns by PayPal, Interac e-Transfer is returned by Interac. We process approved refunds within 5 business days.
