Privacy Policy

Effective May 2026. We collect as little personal data as possible to run the platform.

What we collect

• Account data: name and email when you register. Optional profile fields (bio, avatar) are yours to fill or skip.
• Learning data: which courses you start, lessons you complete, quizzes you take, and certificates you earn — used to track your progress and award your ArtaQuest coin wallet.
• Donation data: when you donate, we store the order amount, your account ID, your chosen payment method, and the order status. We do not store credit card numbers; payment is processed entirely outside our system (you send funds via PayPal or Interac e-Transfer directly).
• Technical data: language preference, IP address (for the first-visit language auto-pick), and standard server logs (retained 30 days).

What we do not collect

• Credit card or bank account numbers.
• Marketing cookies. We use no third-party advertising trackers.
• Behavioural profiling for ad targeting (we run no ads).

Who we share with

No one, except service providers strictly required to run the site (hosting, transactional email). We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with marketers, data brokers, or social networks.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or full account deletion by writing to support@artaquest.org. We respond within 14 days.

Cookies

We set a small number of functional cookies — login session, language preference, shopping cart for donations. None of these are used for tracking.
