Groups
- Representative democracy — Citizens elect representatives to govern on their behalf.
- Direct democracy — Citizens vote directly on laws and major decisions.
- Constitutional monarchy — An elected government alongside a ceremonial or limited monarch.
- Federal / decentralised — Power shared between national and strong regional or local governments.
- Technocracy — Decisions led by experts and specialists in each field.
- Anarchism — A society organised without a coercive state.
- One-party / strong state — A single dominant party or strong central authority directs the state.
- Theocracy — Government guided by religious law and leadership.
- Undecided / other — Doesn't hold a settled view, or favours another form.
