- Back (supine) — Sleeps face-up, flat on the back.
- Side — Sleeps on one side — the most common position.
- Stomach (front) — Sleeps face-down, on the front.
- Fetal — Curled up on the side with knees drawn in.
- Mixed / mover — Shifts position through the night — no single way.
