- Liberal — Values individual rights, reform, and an active role for government in fairness.
- Conservative — Values tradition, stability, and gradual rather than rapid change.
- Socialist — Values collective ownership and reducing economic inequality.
- Libertarian — Values maximum personal and economic freedom with minimal state.
- Green — Centres environmental sustainability and social justice.
- Nationalist — Centres national identity, sovereignty, and self-determination.
- Centrist — Seeks balance and pragmatic compromise between left and right.
- Anarchist — Favours a society organised without a coercive state.
- Apolitical / other — Doesn't identify with an ideology, or holds another view.
