Groups
- Orthodox — Holds to traditional observance of Jewish law (halakha).
- Haredi — Strictly traditional communities, including Hasidic groups.
- Conservative / Masorti — Balances tradition with measured modern adaptation.
- Reform — Emphasises ethical tradition and individual choice in practice.
- Reconstructionist — Sees Judaism as an evolving civilisation of the Jewish people.
- Jewish Renewal — A spiritual movement drawing on mysticism and meditation.
- Humanistic — Embraces Jewish culture and ethics from a secular, humanistic view.
- Secular / cultural — Identifies with Jewish peoplehood and culture more than religious practice.
- Just Jewish / other — Identifies simply as Jewish, or with another movement.
