Enseña el por qué detrás de tu campo
ArtaQuest es una plataforma de aprendizaje abierto que combina fisica fundamental (cómo funciona el mundo) con filosofía humanitaria (why we use what we learn). Every course is priced at the equivalent of one US dollar per hour of video (charged in USD; shown in your local currency), and a bursary covers the full cost for anyone who needs it. The platform is run by ArtaQuest Foundation, una corporación federal canadiense sin fines de lucro (#1794832-8 — verify on Corporations Canada). Ningún inversionista, gerente o miembro del personal se beneficia de las tarifas de los estudiantes.
La escalera del creador
No filtramos por credenciales ni por trayectoria. El ascenso es automático y depende de una sola cosa: el total de monedas que has ganado. Los cinco niveles van de Principiante a Gran Maestro, and each step up moves your revenue share closer to the full 100% — from 38% at Novice to 99% at Grandmaster. Each tier doubles the coin bar of the one below it — 10,000, 20,000, 40,000, 80,000, 160,000 — so every step up is genuinely twice as steep. The top tier takes a lifetime to reach — it is the equivalent of a tenured chair, and ArtaQuest takes almost nothing from a Grandmaster instructor’s courses.

Gran maestro equivale a una cátedra vitalicia: ArtaQuest se queda con casi nada de los cursos de un instructor Gran maestro.

Learner coin values live in the LMS Points dashboard; edit there and this table updates automatically. Creator and bug-bounty values are set in the ArtaQuest settings.
Conferenciante vs. Instructor
Each ArtaQuest course credits two people. The Profesor is the person on camera giving the lectures — the editorial face of the course. The Instructor is the person who built the course on ArtaQuest: uploaded the videos, wrote the attention quizzes, set up the certificate. The Instructor is the one who climbs the creator ladder and receives the coin rewards on every review, certificate earned, and quiz passed.
A Lecturer doesn’t need to be on the platform. An Instructor is always an ArtaQuest member. The same person can be both.
Reparto de ingresos
Every ArtaQuest course is priced at the equivalent of one US dollar per hour of video (charged in USD). Anyone who cannot pay can apply for a bursary that covers the full cost — no one is turned away for lack of funds. The percentage above is what stays with the instructor after card-processing costs (~3%) are taken off. At the Grandmaster tier the platform keeps just 1% — effectively the card-processing cost — so the instructor keeps the rest. Hosting and our small content team are funded by donations to ArtaQuest Foundation, not from the creator’s share.
Cómo las recompensas regresan a los instructores

Students get rewarded too — +50 coins on every review they leave, +10 on every quiz they pass, plus whatever the LMS point system pays for lessons + certificates.
La donación cuenta para alcanzar el umbral
Every dollar you donate becomes 1 ArtaQuest coin in your wallet, on the same ledger as the learning points above. Donating is one path to the coin thresholds — not a shortcut around the rest. You still need to publish courses, your students still need to pass quizzes, and reviews still need to come in for the upper tiers.
Lo que no estamos buscando
- Courses that mostly rehash Wikipedia or summarise material a learner could just watch directly. The Novice tier is for turning real teaching into proper courses – con pruebas de atención, secciones estructuradas y un certificado – no para volver a cargar clips.
- Contenido que promociona un producto o servicio comercial.
- Contenido político cuyo objetivo principal sea la defensa partidista. (El análisis histórico-político es bienvenido; la promoción, no).
- Pseudociencia presentada bajo un sello científico. (El contenido explícitamente filosófico o espiritual es bienvenido; simplemente requerimos un etiquetado honesto).
